About

Kenny Sheridan

I am a former U.S. Marine and systems engineer focused on hardware, accelerated infrastructure, AI and machine learning platforms, virtualization, and open systems work.

After eight years as a Marine Corps meteorologist and instructor, I moved into hardware and infrastructure roles where racks, firmware, cooling, networking, software, operations, and customer delivery have to be understood together. That path has included startup environments, customer-specific infrastructure products, ServiceNow-scale operations, GPU platforms, regulated environments, and self-hosted systems.

I build and review systems that turn hardware fleets, GPU clusters, cooling systems, virtualized environments, and edge devices into operational capability. The work is usually less about a single tool and more about deciding what has to be observable, reproducible, secure, and reliable enough for the team that will operate it.

Operating Principles

How I Tend to Work.

I prefer evidence over theater: logs, topology, benchmarks, constraints, and operational reality.
I work best where hardware, software, product, and customer pressure meet.
I am comfortable translating between executives, engineers, vendors, operators, and investors.
I value conservative architecture: use new technology where it changes the outcome, not where it only changes the slide deck.
